neighborhood of Coconut Grove, where she attended Saint Stephen's Episcopal
Church. After high school, she attended California State University, Fullerton,
from which she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in history in 1987. After her
decision to seek holy orders, she and her husband, Michael Reeves, traveled to

graduated from Saint John's and received the equivalent of an American Master of
Divinity degree. After she and her husband returned to California, she was
ordained deacon and then priest in the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles, where
she was also assistant rector of two churches. She and her husband returned to
the Miami area. She was rector of Saint Margaret's Episcopal Church in Miami

Training Opportunities…
Will you strive for justice and peace among all
people, respect the dignity of every human being? Will
you persevere in resisting evil and whenever you fall
into sin, repent and return to the Lord? [The
Baptismal Covenant]
ANTI-RACISM TRAINING – Because
racism has existed for centuries, many of us are unaware
how the history of racism affects how we all think, live
and behave even today. In order to become more aware
of our actions—personally, interpersonally and
institutionally—and move toward a church without
racism that openly welcomes all races. The General Convention
of the Episcopal Church named racism a sin and has mandated
anti-racism training for all church leaders, both ordained
and lay. See attached registration form. For
more information, contact Diane Lovelace at DiLovelace@aol.com
or 408/263-8945.
