Christian Education
ECA provides educational opportunities for the entire
congregation. Our
mission is to help all members study the Holy Scriptures, come
to know, love and serve God, develop a meaningful, personal
relationship with Jesus, and understand the authority he has
given us to minister to others. In addition, our
emphasis is to examine the Episcopal traditions and the
Book of Common Prayer and its basis in scripture.
Throughout the year special classes or activities are scheduled. They
can run in length from a few hours on a Saturday or Sunday
after church to a given number of weeks held during the week
day or evening. These classes or activities are open
to any interested person and are usually announced at the Sunday
morning services during announcements, listed in the Sunday
bulletin, published in the Shape,
posted on the bulletin board at church, and posted on our Web
page calendar.
SUNDAY SCHOOL Sunday
School begins at 10:10 a.m. and ends at 10:50 a.m. Our
regular Sunday School year begins in September and ends in
May.
Our children's classes are provided for ages 4 and above through high
school. Teachers and assistants attend training classes before each new
unit.
This is another way for your children to learn more about the Christian faith
as well as build community in the process.

Thursday Morning Bible Study
10:30 am - noon
Thursday morning bible study is held at 10:30 in the choir room. Whether
you are an old pro, or a novice who's never done it before,
you are invited to study the bible with an informal,
lay-led group. The only requirement is a willingness
to engage in reflection on the Bible's meaning for our
lives today. We meet from 10:30
am to 12:00 pm at the church. Everyone is welcome. Come
when you can.
Mary McPherson
A schedule and a
printable set of lessons are posted in PDF format on the Thursday
Morning Bible Study page.
