CHRISTIAN
EDUCATION
Katie Taplin
Christian Education Director
ECA provides educational opportunities for the entire congregation. Our
mission is to help all members study the Holy Scriptures, come
to know, love and serve God, develop a meaningful, personal
relationship with Jesus, and understand the authority he has
given us to minister to others. In addition, our emphasis
is to examine the Episcopal traditions and the Book of Common
Prayer and its basis in scripture.
Throughout the year special classes or activities are scheduled. They
can run in length from a few hours on a Saturday or Sunday
after church to a given number of weeks held during the week
day or evening. These classes or activities are open
to any interested person and are usually announced at the Sunday
morning services during announcements, listed in the Sunday
bulletin, published in the Shape,
posted on the bulletin board at church, and posted on our Web
page calendar.
SUNDAY SCHOOL Sunday
School begins at 10:10 a.m. and ends at 10:50 a.m. Our
regular Sunday School year begins in September and ends in
May.
Our children's classes are provided for ages 4 and above through high
school. Teachers and assistants attend training classes before each new
unit.
This is another way for your children to learn more about the Christian faith
as well as build community in the process.

to engage in reflection on the Bible's meaning for our
lives today. We meet each Thursday morning from 10:30
am to 12:00 pm at the church. Everyone is welcome. Come
when you can.
