Fellowship

One of the most valued ministries of our parish amidst our busy life-styles is to provide Christian fellowship.   ECA offers a variety of fellowship opportunities for small groups or the whole congregation, for families or adults only, for men and for women.  All of our activities are recreational or social in nature.

Book Group - This is a book group organized by women of ECA & AVUCC.  The group meets the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 7:30 pm.  New books are selected each month.  For more information, contact Amy Griffith at 268-0920.

CAMPING - We try to schedule an annual church camping trip in May or June.  Locations vary but our most recent trips have all been to the Big Sur river.  Read More

CARD GROUPS - Contact Amy Griffith or Kathy Kisabeth (AVUCC) for more information.

ECA PARTNER'S BRIDGE - a group of players (usually 4 to 5 tables) who meet the first Friday of each month. New groups begin each January. Substitutes are always needed.

LADIES' BRIDGE - a group of women (usually 2 to 3 tables) who meet at 7:30 p.m. the third Tuesday of each month at one of the member's houses on a rotating basis.  Substitutes and new members are always needed.

JV ROUND ROBIN BRIDGE - a group of players from ECA and UCC that meet once a month to play with one other couple at a time mutually agreed upon. New groups are formed each October and are finished playing in May.  This is not as structured as Partner's Bridge (above).  The winners organize the schedule for the following year. Substitutes are always needed.

DINNER GROUPS - We form new dinner groups two of three times each year.  There are three different categories of groups--adults only, families, and restaurants.  Each group has seven to eight people or 3 to 4 families, and you can sign up for more than one group.  This is a great way to get to know people.  Please join in!

KNITTING - 2nd & 4th Saturdays 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Please join us at the church on Saturday mornings at 10:00 and bring your knitting. This is a time for fun, fellowship and knitting. We use the time to work on our own projects, learn new things, and/or discuss ways to reach out with out needles and yarn. If you have any questions please call the church office or contact Sharon Mills & Pat Fox

Hold TightSPECIAL FELLOWSHIP EVENTS - a variety of special larger fellowship events is provided on occasion throughout the year.  These events will vary from year to year as time and opportunity dictates.  We are always looking for ideas and for people to become involved in the planning and organization of these events. See our Special Events page for current activities.
