Vestry Meeting: February 3, 2001
Attendees:
Ann Avoux, Bonnie Ashurst, Belinda Byerly-Robins, Beverley Deveaux , Vickie
Jones, Natalie Mena, Russ Petruzzelli, Ginger Redman, Nolan Redman, Joan
Wagner, Len Whitlock, Warren Willard.
Absent: Alex Dershimer, Dave Thomas, Roberta Verderico,
The January vestry meeting minutes were not read. These minutes will be
read and approved at the March meeting.
The Financial Report
The ECA vestry reviewed the financial report. A shortfall between the
budget and pledged amounts is presently occurring. Len Whitlock moved to
approve the financial report. Warren Willard seconded the motion and the
vestry approved the financial report.
Old Business:
The rectory deck requires repairs. It was suggested that a review of
the back yard as a whole be considered. Plans for the redo of the complete
back yard are in the process of being drawn up by Suzie and Jerry Ferguson.
Financing upkeep and maintenance of the Rectory is not included in the budget.
The vestry requires a review of this issue.
New Business:
1. Elections:
First Junior Warden: Russ Petruzzelli moved to approve Vickie Jones as
Jr. Warden. Ginger Redman seconded the motion and the vestry approved Vickie
Jones as our first Jr. Warden.
Second Junior Warden: Bonnie Ashurst moved to approve Russ Petruzzelli
as Jr. Warden. Ann Avoux seconded the motion and the vestry approved Russ
Petruzzelli as our second Jr. Warden.
2. Senior Warden: According to the ECA By- laws, the rector selects
the Senior Warden. Nolan Redman appointed Beverley Deveaux as Senior Warden.
Beverley announced that she was looking forward to working with the vestry.
3. The next Vestry meeting will be held March 13th, 7:30 pm , at
the rectory.
4. Russ will email two tables to vestry members. One will be a listing of
the ministries definitions/responsible leaders and the other will contain a
list of the vestry members.
