Vestry Minute Highlights
Attendees: Belinda Byerly-Robins, Bev Deveaux, Terry Gooding, Susie

Absent: Warren Willard, Joan Wagner
The October 10 minutes were read, corrected, and approved.
The Financial report was reviewed. No problems were noted. Income and
expenses are on target. The report was approved
Nolan presented a document supporting Dori Torrey for appointment to the
order of deacons. Nolan said that it needs at least 8 vestry members'
signatures. It was circulated and received more than the required number of
signatures.
Jr. Warden's Report: Belinda and Russ reported that The Narthex and
the Hall had been painted by volunteers. Several other rooms will also be
painted. November 18 is a JV work day. The building calendar is
now being kept by Amy Griffith. There is a plan to paint several
handicap parking spaces at the west entrance of fellowship hall. JV has
a secretary, Suzan Car, who will work mornings. A building committee has
been formed under Dick Specht. The new rangetop for the rectory is due
to be installed next week. The toilets at the church continue to be a
problem. The latest blockage cost $900 to clear. Please be careful of
what goes into them.
Nolan reported that the youth program on Sunday mornings is off to a good
start with 10 participants.
Sr. Warden's Report: Brenda reported that the Canterbury Club sent
us a thank you note for the donation we sent them from the Shadinger Fund.
Stewardship Report: Ed Mueller reported that we have received 39
pledges.
Nomination committee report: Ed Mueller will forward the report to
Nolan who will draft candidates.
Open Action Items: JV Building Committee has not yet met.
Rectory Deck not discussed
Reminders: Vestry dinner at the rectory on Tuesday January 9, 2001
for the old and the new Vestry members.
