Welcome to Holy Week

March 29—Palm Sunday—A celebration of the triumphal entry to Jerusalem which marks our entry to Holy Week

April 1—Holy Wednesday—Our final evening Lenten Eucharist and Adult Forum

April 2—Maundy ThursdayPotluck soup supper in the Fellowship Hall at 6:30pm.

We’ll remember how Jesus washed the feet of his disciples and gave himself as the meal that continues to nourish us.

April 3—Good Friday—Stations of the Cross from 12 to 3pm. Psalms and dramatic readings will lead us through the walk to Golgotha to the foot of the cross.

Liturgy of the Burial of the Christ (7:30) We hear a portion of the Passion and touch the sorrow the disciples felt as they carried the Christ from the cross to the tomb.

April 4—Holy Saturday—The Great Vigil and first Celebration of Easter at 7:30pm

We gather at dusk to light the Paschal fire and candle, process into the church, hear the ancient Exultet chant, tell the story of salvation history, meet the Risen Christ in the Eucharistic meal, and—once again—sing out our alleluias as we begin our celebration of Easter.

April 5—Easter Day—Celebrations of the Resurrection at 7:30 and 10:30am

We ring our alleluia bells, sing beloved Easter hymns, and rejoice in the promise of God’s love that the Resurrection brings to us.

Easter Egg Hunt following the 10:30 service.
