Weekly Inspiration (2/23/24)

May you know yourself to be a miraculous co-creator with God of the wonders and beauty of creation. And may your work, if only a tiny fraction of it, be a source of joy, pride, and dignity. For in that moment, you will discover what it means to share in the divine life of God.

Poem of the Week

by Dan Sadlier

Christianity can be confusing, but
the way of Jesus was pretty clear:

move toward the poor
empower the woman
create space at the table
throw parties
widen the family boundaries
poke holes in oppressive systems
don’t retaliate with violence
forgive your enemy
don’t store up wealth
be present with people

heal
announce
push back the darkness

the kingdom of God is near.
